Course Map

The course winds through the Plano campus of HP and The Campus at Legacy.  The majority of the course is flat with some slight inclines.  The surface is concrete throughout.

USAT&F Certification Number is TX09011ETM for the 5K course.

Chip timing is available and can be purchased during the online registration process, selected on the mail-in form or at Walk-Up registration during Race Week and on Race Day.  To be eligible for awards you must be timed.  All awards are based on chip time.  Competitive 5k will start at 7:55 a.m. Chip timed runners must be in the Start Corral by 7:45 a.m.

The HP campus offers convenient covered parking with more than 10,000 spaces adjacent to the start and finish lines. Please view the Parking Map provided above as well as on the back of your Race bib to see the road closure times as well as the exit times from the Race site parking garages.  Please note the following:

• There is no exit until 9am from the RED TENNYSON PARKING LOT
• There is no exit until 10:30am from the BLUE LEGACY PARKING LOT
• There is no exit until 10:30am from the IN THE PINK and VOLUNTEER PARKING LOTS located at the Campus at Legacy (5360 Legacy Drive)
• There is no exit until 10:30am from the SURVIVOR and SPONSOR PARKING LOTS located at the Campus at Legacy (5340 Legacy Drive)

If you need to leave the Race site before 9am, we highly suggest that you utilize OFFSITE PARKING available at 5700 Tennyson Parkway and 5800 Tennyson Parkway located at the southwest corner of Parkwood and Tennyson.  Also, you can choose to park at the Shops at Legacy.  These properties have graciously given us permission to have Race participants utilize these designated parking areas.   

REMEMBER...Arrive early - no later than 7:00 a.m. - to avoid road closures and congestion.  Go green and carpool!

The Aloft Plano is offering Race Partcipants a special rate of $71 on Friday, June 8th.  Just mention that you are participating in the Komen North Texas Plano Race for the Cure.

The Plano Marriott at Legacy Town Center is offering Race Participants a special rate of $89 on Friday, June 8th.  Just mention that you are participating in the Race for the North Texas Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure and make your reservation on or before May 24th.

Safety

For the safety of all participants, inline skates, bicycles and pets are not permitted at this event.  For those with baby strollers/joggers or motorized chairs participating in the 5K, please keep to the back of the pack.  We appreciate your cooperation.

The event will occur rain or shine. We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. In that event, there will be no refunds; rather your entry fee will be used as a donation to the Susan G. Komen Plano Race for the Cure®.
