Outreach Programs

Being well-informed is important for understanding and fighting breast cancer. The Komen North Texas Affiliate operates an extensive Education and Outreach program to educate and raise awareness among all families in North Texas. Early detection offers the best chance of survival and more treatment options. When the disease is confined to the breast, the 5-year survival rate is over 95%.

Health Fairs/Speaking Engagements

Our educational presentation includes the most current breast health information and breast cancer statistics. We are happy to present at "Lunch and Learn" workshops, company/civic/school sponsored health fairs and events.

Educational Materials

Komen North Texas provides community members with a breast health information starter kit valued at $25.
