Major step in personalized treatment — Thanks to a 2007 research grant from Susan G. Komen for the Cure®,scientists identified a set of 50 genes that oncologists can potentially use to tailor individualized treatments for all breast cancer patients.

Kids for the Cure® presented by Tom Thumb

In addition to running in the 5K or Family Fun Run - kids can join the Race for the Cure® by participating in the crafts and entertainment in the Kids for the Cure® Area.

All children 12 and under, requesting a youth sized t-shirt, will receive a special Kids for the Cure® t-shirt and race bib.

This area is highlighted by the Accenture Kids’ Dash! Join us at the Accenture Kids’ Tent in the Kids for the Cure® area at 9:15 a.m. for a 50-yard dash.

This event is for kids 8 and under. There is no registration fee, and the first 200 participants will receive a Race bib, Accenture Kids’ Dash t-shirt and goodie bag.  Register on Race day at the Accenture Kids’ Tent or download the form and bring it with you on June 12.. A parent or guardian must complete and sign a waiver (Coming soon...) for each child.
