Asian Breast Health Outreach Project at Methodist Richardson Medical Center brings early detection awareness of breast cancer to the Asian community. The mission is achieved through education and free mammograms. Funded by the Dallas and North Texas Affiliates of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, it serves the underserved population in Collin, Dallas, and Denton Counties. The program also provides referrals for next step help. It participates in health fairs and organizes breast health seminars in Asian languages. Asian Breast Health Outreach Project has front line staff speaking Asian languages to assist patients. The program believes no woman should be left behind due to language, cultural, knowledge and financial barriers. Everyone deserves an opportunity to live. With the kind generosity of Komen for the Cure, Asian Breast Health Outreach Project has already provided more than 4200 mammograms since the inception in 2001. |

Our program provides diagnostic and treatment services to qualified individuals who have found a breast lump or been diagnosed with breast cancer. Our qualified medical provider network, dedicated staff, and a host of volunteers help each person get through their breast cancer journey with hope and dignity. |

Bridge of Blessings 'mission is to provide temporary financial assistance to qualified individuals in the North Texas area who are currently undergoing treatment for breast or ovarian cancer. Everyone fighting this battle should have the peace of mind that their most essential financial needs are met, so they can focus all their energies on getting well. Many individuals, particularly those unable to work as they undergo treatment, face tremendous stress from financial burdens - stress that could compromise their recovery. Eliminating this unnecessary hardship is the vision of Bridge of Blessings. Its founders believe that no one should have to make a decision between receiving life-saving treatment and being able to meet the family's basic needs. |

Collin County Health Care Services (CCHCS) is committed to promoting the early detection of breast cancer among low-in-come and uninsured women in our community. With the financial support of the Susan G. Komen organization, CCHCS provides annual breast screenings, education, and mammograms to patients needing breast cancer services. CCHCS has also partnered the BRIDGE Breast Cancer Center in order to refer patients who may need more extensive evaluation and/or treatment for breast cancer. |

The goal of the Denton County Mammogram Project is to increase access to breast cancer early detection screenings for Denton County women. Breast cancer screenings, such as mammograms, are essential and lead to early detection and treatment of breast cancer. The program aims to increase access to early detection for Denton County women by providing financial assistance for screening mammograms. In an effort to make the program easily accessible to eligible Denton County residents. Outreach for the program is provided by a variety of means including community presentations, health fairs, and continual community collaboration. |

FAMILY HEALTH CARE, INC. will utilize these funds to provide routine and diagnostic breast screening to uninsured men and women, especially Hispanic and black women in Denton County. Local Denton hospitals, Breast Diagnostics Clinic, surgeons and radiologists are offering discounted rates to provide these services to our clients. Women who are 40 years of age or older will be targeted for screening mammograms at their annual exams. Breast diagnostic exams and biopsies will be available to those, of any age or from any County, with masses or suspicious symptoms |

Grayson County reaches out to men and women of our County who have no ability to obtain breast health services. We teach in various settings, the importance of knowing your own breasts and learning self breast exam and provide free screening mammograms. We encourage men and women to have an annual breast screening with their physician. Follow-up of diagnostic mammogram and ultra sound examination are provided when needed Our target group includes African American, Latino and underserved/underinsured people of our community helping them get needed breast care and learn more about breast self care. Our goal is to eliminate the barriers for obtaining a mammogram and make getting much needed breast care simple. |

The Texoma Health Foundation is an independent community foundation serving Grayson and Fannin Counties in North Texas and Bryan and Marshall Counties in Southern Oklahoma. THF's Breast Cancer Project is supported by community volunteers who assist in educating residents of Grayson County, as well as partnering healthcare providers who agree to offer services at discounted rates for breast cancer screenings, surgeries and treatment for uninsured residents. The Foundation also supports the Reba McEntire Mammography Mobile Unit providing screenings to those in need of Grayson County. 100% of funds received from the Susan G.
